T2 vs. E46 M3

I was leaving my girlfriend's dance competition in Petaluma around 11:00pm. I decided to go to Krispy Kremes to check out the local car crews had to offer in Santa Rosa. I went in and there were the usuals sti, evo 8, stang gts, etc. When I parked my car, I noticed an E46 m3 and next to him, a '03-'04 cobra. I always wanted to see what I can do against those cars. So timidly I walk by them to see how bad they can beat my car if they can. I asked if they want to have a run. "Yeah, where do you want to do it? I can't do it off the line cause my tire are getting bald." The M3 agreed, but the Cobra didn't.

So the M3 and i was heading out on the freeway. We finally got clear on the freeway. Both of us were doing 65mph rolling start. He and I punch it the same time. I jumped out on him by surprise and noticed by 7500rpm in third, he was two- four car lenght behind me. Shifted into fourth at 8K, and he was even farther now.

"NAH!" I said to myself. I can't beat them that bad, can i?, wondering to myself. So I turned off the next exit and he caught up and asked to go again. So i followed and let him lead this time. This time, we did a 60mph rolling start and he's half a car lenght if front of me to roll going the other way on the freeway. When we were steady, he and i puched it.

Okay, now its a race. He kept up and I was steadily gaining on him. Before i shift into fourth, i was one car lenght in front of him. By end of forth, he was about 3 cars behind. I just laughed at the raced: ) At the end of lthe freeway, came a light, I just took off to the bar where i met up with my girlfriend and her friends at the bar and have a drink or two?! Can't remember.

But it was a fun friendly race.

Hell yes...nice kills...get the T2 bck on the map...i love the feeling of being the only 7 when u pull up with a big group of cars...its always Evos, STis, Mustangs, Camaros, occasional Supras, of course Hondas, but not ever many sevens...then coming out on top with a win...way to represent...just make sure no racing after those drinks...

I don't know... never really interested for 1/4 mile times. I have my brother's 1JZ supra and my cousin's Z32 twin turbo to deal with the quarter mile.

I've never had a chance to run a m3 of any kind but i know the cobra is just ok in my book. when i got my prelude i new that it was fast but needed to test and along comes a cobra who gives me a run. we get on the expressway and go from the on ramp for maybe a mile and i was on his *** the whole time but i never passed him though. i got the car from the dealer that fast and don't know what was on the inside of the motor but that 4 banger was fast. talked to the guy and he told me he had no idea that they were that fast. SO I KNOW IF THAT COBRA HAD MINIMUM MODS THEN YOU MORE THAN LIKELY WOULD HAVE RAN AWAY FROM HIM AND THATS WHY HE PROBABLY DIDN'T WANT TO RUN. you have to watch those German cars though because it seems that everyone i race are kinda slow from the start but anywhere in the higher speeds they will walk off and leave you.

Seriously, good kill on the BMW can't wait till its my turn!

like i said i don't know what was inside but from first glance it was stock. even if the guy didn't know how to drive he still had hella more horsepower and should've walked but didn't. though a lot of people hate on honda's they are still stout little motors that can take some serious abuse as long as the timing belt doesn't skip or break. h22 or h23 vtec is nice in my opinion.
