Well it started as a joke as most challenges i recieve are. my co-worker was talking sh.. and said his car could beat my 20yo pos and show that pistons are the way to go. we all know better...hehehehe lolololololol!

i told him when he gets a car worth racing i would see. well it took him another month before he was ready. i asked him what he did to his car and he pulled a gay little line from a movie we all know too well (fast&the furious), "well you'll have to find out wont you"

I had enough at that point and said " hey we both get out at the same time why not then?" he said ok... let the games begin.

now i only have the very basic mods to my car, apex n1 dual, pacesetter hedder and a few others. i have also driven my car twice accross the country, yes with that exhaust...lol

he met me in the parking lot and said its on beeeeeoottttcccchhhh! we are in good standings with each other so the name calling is normal work stuff. i got in my car and waited for him to start his. i noticed a strange sent in the air and then it was "good to the last drop" when he rolled by...hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

we got to the prearranged spot and did the first run as a shakedown run to see each others driving style and then went ***** out. we chose to do a rolling start@40. after i lost him in my rear view he caught up and said he missed 3rd. i figured id let him slide once. we lined up again@40 and again i whoped him so hard his dads teeth shook. he wanted to go again so i said ok. guess what? he lost again!

i was all raced out at that point, but he followed me all the way home and wanted to run again. "sorry" i said "but i cant drive and laugh at the same time"

he now wants to run from a standing start.

i want ya'lls thoughts on this! yea or nay?

 

BTW 03 eclipse had a cold air intake and a remus exhaust can from his brothers audi. sorry forgot taht pat in the first part

 

humm do it.. if your pulling away that much on him.. i wouldnt matter if he got the jump on you from a standing start.. you should roll by him with easy just like the 40mph run

 

if its v6 5speed good luck there not that slow, but form a dig u should jump on him they suck out the hole my friend has one but it would catch u at 3rd gear, if its 4cyc then ull smoke it

 

I fucked up 3 when I was naturally aspirated. The V6 ones aren't anything special. Sorry to break it to you.

 

I beat an 06 I4 5sp from a dig. Barely. They have about 25hp over the 4-banger 03's. Don't know about weight differences.

A car like yours would leave that thing in the dust

I ran with 06 eclipse GT in my s5 gxl. all i had is full racing beat 2.5" exhaust and 18" wheels (huge bitches to spin). he was in front all the time while i even spun out a little shifting into 3rd gear. he got me by a little less than a car length and we started from a dig, both had two people in the car.

you know every one at work picks on him for driving a chicks car and he gets all mad. i talked to him yesterday and he said he now wants a turbo and n2o so he can beat me. i told him not to waste his time i wont run what i dont think i can beat and i also dont run any car with n2o!! even if he does all that stuff to his car he still drives a chicks car!!!

 

It's sad when someone thinks they need a turbo and N20 to match up with the barely modified NA RX-7.
