Not shipping anything yet. We just shipped Ernie his no shifter hole version shifter panel since he needs it for his event and he requested this during the very beginning of this GB. We will post updates as things progress but we ask everyone to be patient with this project because there are just too many things to work on.

R-R-Rx7, sorry about the late reply, we will try to get some RHD fitment pics soon.

vest_racing, Which part are you referring to? The cluster face panel or the A/C panel? Or are you talking about the entire dash panel. We are not going to make any additional race version parts since we honestly do not see enough demand to produce another custom mold.

First of all, things change, we first thought this would be a fast project because we did not account for the level of precision involved in the construction of the under sides of these panels. Like we said, we have gone through lots of testings during production phases hence the extra time. All these precautions were taken to make sure things come out right the first time.

As of now, we are waiting for the door pieces which were already shipped out from the factory so we should be getting them next week after the holiday. As soon as they arrive, we will test fit and make sure on the fitment. We cannot tell the factory to proceed into production until we make sure that every single piece fits correctly.

As far as the RHD pieces, we will produce some sample parts once we are done with the LHD GB.

So are you saying that if the door piece that is on its way to you, fits properly, that you will be ready to ship?

Thanks for your insightful response dark.

Common sense says that production leads to shipping. We arent assembling the space shuttle, once the manufacturing plant starts production, things start shipping to JKL.

BUT I suppose common sense is becoming less and less common.

alright, here are some quick pics we took of the door pieces which came in earlier today. We are too busy today to test fit them so hopefully we will get them test fitted tomorrow. Just from the visual inspection, as you can see in the pics here, the pieces are very well produced and the 7-piece mold obviously proved its worthiness in terms of the quality they can deliver.

Note: The black CF passenger door handle grip piece is the optional piece we are now offering. It can be purchased separately or along with the package. The handle is reinforced so it offers enough integrity.

If we are talking the same thing, this has already been answered -> post #87 "I believe I replied to your question in post #73. The map pocket (cubby with lid) is not being included right now. James"

But I am also very interested in the rest of the driver door handle, maybe a decision point in buying these parts. JKL how much for that extra part?

i would only need the lid and the little end piece not the hole pocket. to me it would not look right only to have half of the driver door carbon fiber and the rest just black.

We will consider producing the rest only if enough interest are gathered. As of now, we only got deposit for 4 orders of a 6-piece kit. We have invested a lot into making this kit happen and it has taken a fair amount of time to complete. So we do not want to extend this project into any additional piece unless serious interest are shown.

If we are making that map pocket lid, it will probably be in the pricing range of $100-200.

As of now, the only optional piece available is the passenger door pull handle grip part. The price has been determined to be $230 during GB.

Guys, the door parts look fantastic. Once on the car fitment is complete I'll pull the trigger on these. Any chance of getting a plain fiberglass set I could paint? Just curious would be nice to match my interior to my paint.

dark, sorry, we will not be producing any of our interiors in fiberglass. Only CF!

We are currently considering producing the driver side map pocket lid if there are a decent amount of interest so if you want to see it made, please add your name below on the pocket lid list so we can have an rough idea. Thanks!

The basic 6 piece kit is $1200 + shipping and it includes the following items:
Gauge Cluster Face
Gauge Cluster Hood
Shifter Surround Panel
Driver Side Plastic Surround
Passenger Side Plastic Surround
A/C Panel

Optional Parts Available:
Passenger Interior Door Handle Grip Part $230

Note: All items can be purchased separately after GB ends.

If you are interested, please send a $300 deposit to sales@jklre.com
You MUST put your forum name and the exact item you want in the description field when sending paypal payments. That way we can keep a better record of your payment status and identity. It will be difficult for us to keep matching emails, real names, and forum names every time when we search through our records.

Due to the current bad economy, we figured that we should change the GB policy around slightly to increase the efficiency in GB progresses. So here is what we will do for all GB. If a project is worth doing, we will start the production and give a certain time for people to send in deposit. Only those who send in deposit during the first batch production will receive the GB discount and the GB will be closed immediately after the first batch production is completed. After the GB is closed, price will go back to MSRP.

So if you would like to receive the GB discount for this interior kit, send in your deposit soon since once we receive all the pieces, the production will begin.

If no order details have been included for your order, then please update it as soon as possible so we know what parts you want.
