Is the deposit refundable if there isn't enough interest after a certain time period?

JKL are these the 6 parts you are talking about -> "B) The six pieces will be the gauge cluster hood, gauge cluster face, driver side plastic excluding map pocket bin, passenger side plastic, A/C panel, and shifter panel. We didnt think of doing the ashtray but if there is enough interest it can be done as well."

As stated before ... why don't you include the needed information in your post (missing deposit info)? You again have forced us to go through the entire thread to find a small piece of info that would have been very easily typed in by you. You guys have been in business for some time now, there is basic info that all of your customers will want in products you sell on the forums, why not include that basic info in each of your posts?

Im more than positive deposits will be refundable if the project doenst get underway... I believe the deposit is not however refundable after the project has begun, but then its just a matter of when it will be finishes not if it will be done at all.

Sorry for not including all the info in every post. I just updated the post and will keep using this format later on.

Regarding the deposit, yes, Chris' answer is correct, we will refund the deposits fully if the project is not going to happen. But since this project is already starting for sure, the only thing we are working on is to finish this as soon as we possibly can.

We have located couple pieces and are ordering the rest brand new from Mazda. Once we receive all pieces, this sample set production will start asap.

The basic 6 piece kit offered in this GB includes the following items:
Gauge Cluster Face
Gauge Cluster Hood
Shifter Surround Panel
Driver Side Plastic Surround
Passenger Side Plastic Surround
A/C Panel

If you are interested, please send a $300 deposit to sales@jklre.com
You MUST put your forum name and the exact item you want in the description field when sending paypal payments. That way we can keep a better record of your payment status and identity. It will be difficult for us to keep matching emails, real names, and forum names every time when we search through our records.

Due to the current bad economy, we figured that we should change the GB policy around slightly to increase the efficiency in GB progresses. So here is what we will do for all GB. If a project is worth doing, we will start the production and give a certain time for people to send in deposit. Only those who send in deposit during the first batch production will receive the GB discount and the GB will be closed immediately after the first batch production is completed. After the GB is closed, price will go back to MSRP.

So if you would like to receive the GB discount for this interior kit, send in your deposit soon since once we receive all the pieces, the production will begin.

If no order details have been included for your order, then please update it as soon as possible so we know what parts you want.

+1....Interested in the same, a blank a/c panel.( i.e. devoid of any switch, recessed a/c switch or radio cutouts). If it can be done in a cheaper fiberglass version all the better.Just going for the painted look.

dash issues

As I stated before, my gauge cluster is custom and in the works. It is looking a little ugly right now and I am not sure how you guys could make a mold for it. I would be willing to pay a bit more to have it done, but I would need to know roughly how much more. If it is workable, I could get on the group buy, get the 5 pieces with everyone else and then send my gauge front for you guys to make it. Please let me know and I will send my deposit if it works. Thanks,

Sigfrid

sorry about the late reply, been working on some distribution and sponsorship deals lately so I barely got time to check the forum.

The prototype for shifter panel (both original and no-hole versions) are done and will be packed and shipped to us soon for test fitting. The other pieces are waiting to be molded. Due to high volume orders the production facility is receiving for the past month, their production speed has slowed down quite a bit. I will definitely keep our projects flowing as quickly as possible but the prototyping process might be a bit slow. Once we get all pieces test fitted, the production process will be much faster.

Again, we apologize for the late reply and will keep everyone updated as new updates come out.

As far as custom pieces such as A/C Panel, we cannot keep offering additional custom pieces unless we get at least 5 people ordering it. All these custom pieces require a new mold so we have to account for that additional molding cost.

Just got the shifter panels in this morning and here are the pics. We will have them test fitted promptly and post the results. The sample units for the other pieces are being molded these couple days. More pics will be posted when they are ready. Thanks again for all your patience!

just a quick question, I have a 93, lhd, and I am just wondering about the cigar tray at the bottom. On my car the 2 switches/holes are on the passenger side and the cigar tray is on the drivers side, in the later years did that change to the design you have? and will it change the fitment in my car?

wow, thx a lot for pointing out, since we have not test fitted it we now just noticed the factory molded the wrong one. We sent them LHD version pieces but since they also got some interior pieces for RHD there, they ended up molding the RHD version piece by mistake. Good news for RHD people then, now we can offer the shift panel for RHD.

We will have them remold the shift panel for LHD and I will double check with them so they don't get the other pieces wrong.

JKL,

that looks great. Can you post a pic of the underside and how you dealt with the screw holes that the switches etc....mount to?

Also, how hard would it be to do this in dry. I would be willing to be in the "on off" group if you can use the existing molds but in dry cf.
