Personally, I think the exclusivity is a brilliant business strategy. Keep the demand up and the numbers down. Definitely keep reproducing for the original buyers. You should require the damaged bumper to be sent back to you to ensure that nobody is abusing this AWESOME service. I don't know of anyone else doing something this customer satisfaction oriented. I'd gladly take part in a number of other such ventures knowing that I wouldn't see my same car driving around very often. Of course you'll make more money to just produce them indefinitely. . . being able to resist "selling out" to keep your current customers happier is the sign of a company that I would support much more loyally than any other.

 

what r you doing for the signal lights and covers I think this was stated befor but I did not see it.

what if someone (myself) likes the idea of this "race" bumper but has decided now is not the time to invest in a functional aesthetic modification?

 

When it comes to uniqueness of certain products, there will always be gains and losses. We will try our best to accommodate everyone's interest, but sometimes it's nearly impossible to satisfy everyone and still keep the product unique. Since most customers seem to like the idea of keeping this bumper somewhat unique, we do not really mind making less profit in this project and make our customers happy. Unfortunately, there will also be customers who cannot purchase the bumper at this moment and still interested in this product. So we will try our best to keep this GB open for a longer period in order to offer the opportunity to more customers. Then we will figure out what to do with this project from there.

 

Do you have an idea of when you'll have pictures of the finished bumper?

We do not want to release pictures of unfinished sample, so we will release them once we finalize the sample. Hopefully, the first sample will be up to our standards and we will probably be able to release the info in 2-3 weeks. We will try our best to proceed as fast as we could.

 

That's probably best, I can't wait to see this finished. I just hope I can get my hands on one if I like what I see.

As a potential customer I have a couple questions:

1: What is your time frame from "deposit recieved" to delivery?
2: Do you have a fixed price for the models and options offered?
3: When will you have pictures of the products offered?

I'm not trying to bash but it seems quite a few GB's start out with the best intentions until the wait for parts turns into a marathon. Your already a month+ into this. Have you delivered any of the bumper kits yet?

Again not trying to bash but I'm a potential customer who is not willing to wait forever for parts at a yet to be known price.

sure, no problem, as I have mentioned before, we will try our best to answer all customers' questions.

The first sample is coming out within 1-2 weeks and I will request pictures from the factory as soon as it is done. As we have mentioned before, this project takes time due to the modifications required to be done to the mold. In order to preserve the original GT-C front bumper we used to make the mold, we had to make two molds for this project. So this project will take little longer than others.

We do not have a fixed price yet simply because we are trying to reduce the price for everyone. We gave out a price range of $500-600 to help give potential customers a sense of scale. We could have thrown out a price of $600 and make more profit, but all we are trying to do here is to help reduce the price as mush as possible, but we cannot know how low it will go unless we get an idea of how many committed buyers there are. We will set the price after we test fit and finalize the sample.
