Any updates? I know I only ordered the lowly KS harness but after 6 months my fenders just arrived so other wise I am ready to go.

 

The shipment from Japan has not arrives yet. It should be here within the next week or so.

Since you now have the final bumper product - can those of us waiting for a picture of the final product see one? Specifically, can you point out the areas where you added more and where we will likely have to remove material for fitment. I don't mind waiting until you get the lenses in to take a picture of them together.

Damian is pretty much done with the splitter and he is working on the rebar and ducts. Damian is also looking at some canards design so we will possibly make some canards too.

 

Recived the bumper Yesterday!
Over all happy with the bumper. packing was a bit scarse for UPS, bumper corners were threw the box, and the spots that the box and bummper were tuching rubbed threw the gel coat.
The bumper looks real nice except that the gel coat is thin not a big deal going to paint it. I have had FRP pices I could buff and run before and the screen in the grill is cheep not a big deal not plan on using it.

I hven't put too much work into it but it may seem that the leans cover hols are a bit off but that could just be me.

I have not had a chance to fit the bumper and hope that is what will put this above the other companies products.

 

I should have pics of the bumper mounted on the car in primer by the end of this week. Body shop supposedly worked all day Saturday on the car making more progress. They are slow as molasses that is for sure!

I though the same thing, but then just pushed on them a bit and the 'poped' into place and fit very well. Keep in mind I have the first prototype nose that was made, but I do not think that area changed at all to the final mold. Get the one side of the lense in first, then just pop it in there.

I do have pics of my nose installed with one of my splitter/undertrays on so you can see what it looks like. But, I left my camera at the garage :-( I will try to pick it up later this week, if not I will be there on the weekend again.

I have to ship a splitter/untertray over to Kevin still so we can go through some details. Then they should be good to go.

Yep, they are on their way to us from Japan. So they should be somewhere mid-air flying across the pacific now

We will post once the shipment arrives.

For the problem regarding the lense holes not matching perfectly, first, we did not change anything there so Damian's suggestions should still work. Second, please remember that these lense covers and bumpers have pre-drilled holes and all drilled by hand so there will be some slight mis-matching for certain individual units. All you have to do is play around with it or just simply make the hole a little longer with a drill for easy fitting.

Once we receive the splitter from Damian, we will get it over to the factory asap and start the production. Thanks again to Damian for all his hard work in making everything possible for the rotary community!
