rozado, we contacted you via phone twice and left messages while sending you pm's as well but were still unable to reach you. Please contact us asap regarding the shipment of your bumper since DHL has recently announced that they are pulling out of US domestic market. That will result in an increase in shipping cost if you decide to ship your bumper after DHL officially stops their domestic service since we will have to switch to Fedex or UPS.

Just recieved my bumper this afternoon Other than 2 tiny little cracks (from releasing it from the mold I am thinking) And some air bubbles in the resin that opened up it is perfect. Just some minor waves to smooth out and those few other small things before i paint it up. I will try a test fitting tommorrow i hope. Daylight is a rareity for me lately.

What are fitup/connection details of splitter will it fit on '99 JDM front or only the GT replicas offered here?

 

technically, it will fit any bumper as long as the bottom surface of the bumper is horizontally flat when bolted on the car since they will be installed with Dzus quick release fasteners. For stock or any urethane bumpers, since the material is too flexible and weak, you will need the extra Dzus metal mounting plate to install the springs and fasteners. The springs, fasteners, and tool will be included but the metal plate you will have to order them yourself if needed.

This splitter has been track and race proven lately to even hold after a severe crash which ripped our racing bumper in half, literally! The splitter was still in one piece and only with the middle bent slightly. (the bent was caused by not having any supporting bracket installed) The splitter is made of 6 layers of FRP compressed together so it is tough and slightly heavier than usual splitter you would get from anywhere else. So a mid point support, such as a bracket, will be ideal for racing application. Damian has mentioned that he will be including some type of supporting structure into his rebar for the splitter. As far as the status on Damian's rebar, we have not gotten a solid update from him lately so we hope to hear from him soon.

i was just curious, what about the lenses, are they going to come clear of will you have some with "color" i would just want them to be "smoked" i didnt see any updates on that

 

all lens covers will come in completely clear color so if you would like them smoked, you will have to tint them yourself. We tried to have the smoked versions made but we had enough clear ones during the initial batch and we are planning on ending the production of this bumper soon so we did not proceed further on getting new smoked version lens covers made.

Yes, we will still offer these to original customers whose names are on the paid and shipped list by the time this GB officially closes. And the newer batch we will be stocking will be fully flexible versions so it will be even more flexible than the current versions to provide better impact absorption. However, even if we will be keeping couple of units in stock, it will most likely be only around 3-5 units so interested customers should contact us as early as possible to check availability or place a pre-order to avoid waiting.

yes, we were actually planning on organizing the shipment of splitters soon since there are not enough ppl for the discount and its been a long time. We will be sending pms to everyone who put their names on the splitter list to see if anyone else are still interested in ordering before we make the shipment. We will have to deliver the splitters all at once to our local Greyhound station.

The Greyhound shipping to any address within continental US will be around $90-100 but you will have to pick up your splitter from your local greyhound station. We will need your phone number and address then we will contact you to figure out which Greyhound station you would like your package to be shipped to.

Selling my GT-C bumper. Really liked it, but never installed it and am going the 99 spec route due to clearance issues for where I park every day,(need to park up against a curb and I'm lowered).
$600 was the new price - its not offered any longer, will sell it for $550
Its brand new, never installed.
Shipping will obviously depend on location. Pickup welcome in Corpus Christi TX, or I can deliver to Houston, San Antonio or Austin,(and the valley, Larado as well).
