No, the bumpers will be finished in couple days then shipped out to us. Once we receive the bumper shipment, we will start shipping them out for those who already sent full payment and are not interested in the turn signals.



We have already placed the orders in Japan for the KS harnesses and turn signals. So if you have not ordered them, please make up your mind fast before we have them packed and shipped out from Japan. After this shipment leaves Japan, you will either have to wait until we get enough orders again or pay a lot extra for individual air shipping.

 

Ill Take a race version bumper with signal lights, signal light covers, splitter and rebar, also if you can get gt-c side skirts that be cool also.

 

I know there are a handful of people that are just interested in the lens covers.

What is the process for ordering these? Just keep checking this thread back every few days?

Is there a website for orders? (Since you don't have the lens option on your large compiled update list.)

Will the lens covers likely be available before, at the same time, or after you start shipping out orders for the nose?

not yet, we already sent Damian the sample unit but we have not heard back from him yet. We will contact Damian again and find out what is the current progress on them.

 

Hello everyone. I do have the sample nose now and will be able to work on the rebar/splitter/ducting soon. It will take some time since I have to also focus on prepping my race car for the 08 season.

Rebar:
It looks like the best solution is to make a version similar to the stock rebar but with the light shapes changed to fit the 99 spec lights. This style of rebar will also be more feesable for JKL to reproduce, rather than trying to make a racing specific rebar like I was thinking before.

Splitter:
The edges of the skinned aluminum material do not look very 'finished' so I plan to make a splitter 'cover' that JKL can replicate. It would provide a nice clean finished edge to the splitter.

Ducting:
Now that I have the nose sample, I can start in on the ducting for stock oil coolers and brake ducting shape. My concept on this is that JKL could also replicate these ducts also.

Side note:
I am also looking at making some custom canards once I get the other items finished up.

I'm picking up the bumper this weekend and hope to have it fitted/primered on my car within the next 2 weeks. It is in the body shop now.

I figured you did for all shipments Kevin. I am still a little bitter at DHL for the lip Hence any negativity sensed. I saw in a earlier post in the lip thread I think that the white coating is supposed to be sanded off when prepped for paint.. What color is the original FRP material so I know when i get to it and stop sanding. Thanks for the help with getting quality products out. If it weren't for the shipping the lip looks awsome quality wise. reassuring
