New guy, new project

What's up guys. Looking to build my first FC Rx-7, and was told this is a good site for info/parts/car. Currently I have two cars, none of the are mazda's. The one is a 98 Gt mustang, H/C/I, Vortech supercharger, full suspension, ect. Parting her out, made around 400whp. The second is my D.D., 1998 Ford Contour SVT. STOCK and staying that way.

My plans are as follows

Pick up clean, rust free FC S4 or S5 (still learning). I would like a 5 lug setup with the T-II rear end. The car will NOT be staying rotary.

Engine:
2002 Chevy LS1
LS6 heads
Cam/pushrods/rockers/springs
T-56
Full exhaust, single side
Basic suspension mods
17 or 18'' wheel setup
Fresh paint
clean interior

I like torque

Not looking to build a track car, looking to build a street car . Also the car will only be maybe another 80-100lbs heavier. The car won't have A/C, and the LS1 long blocks are all aluminum.

Any Turbo or SuperCharger Modifications ??

I had a 1985 GSL-SE that was a very fun car and then it got ram-rodded in a parking lot. Had to have another RX7 so I got a 1988 FC3S or FC3C Turbo. It felt much heavier and turning it was more effort and it didn't feel as stable through tight, twisty turns around here. Sounds like you're fairly set on FC body style -- are planning on Any Turbo or SuperCharger Modifications ??

Not real plans on any type of forced induction. Maybe some nitrous, 125-150 shot should do the trick. However I know how I was with my last build, and I got bored with the car n/a.
