New 1998 RHD RX7 Owner from Canada
Hello everyone! My name is David, joined the forum in December but just now decided it would be a good time to get the ball rolling as i've just gotten my engine back from Forcefed in Abbotsford BC. Had a large streetport done, and now i've got my 1998 RHD RX7 sitting in my garage awaiting an HKS downpipe, HKS Hi-Power catback a new aluminum AST and some new rear brake rotors. Should be on the road again by the start of april once the street sweepers go through
I've also been piecing together the interior again with the help of a guy parting out a 98 rhd in vernon about 30 minutes north of where I'm located.
Will probably be putting up a build thread soon but heres to the intro!
Thanks!

Lots of back roads and sunny skies that's for sure! Do you and any of the other lower mainland rx7 owners ever have meets? i'd be down to do a roadie or two down there for some summer meets.
Ya, always nice to have a good excuse to come up that side in the summer. No we don't really have meets. The local site is westcoastrotary.com, we maybe have one a year but there's just not really anyone holding the torch to organize these things
that sucks, i'm coming from the honda community so there's like a meet every week, obviously these cars aren't as common and i'm sure a lot of the lower mainland guys have them parked in the garage for an array of reasons ahaha.
Next time I'm heading down though i'll send you a PM and hopefully we can meet up and talk, and thanks for the link!

There was a lot of bad blood in the mid-late 2000s and I don't think the community ever recovered sady. Now that this next generation of owners comes through hopefully that changes but it doesn't seem like it. Ya send me a message and I'd be happy to meet up. I have a close group of friends with one R32 guy, a Supra, and a 300ZX and we can all go for a cruise.

It's not RX7 specific, but if you're free this weekend the big car forum for the lower mainland (Revscene) is having their annual spring meet. There's usually 800+ cars there.
unfortunately wont be any time for me to get down there this weekend, but i'm 100% in for the revscene summer meet!
