NY kinda new to the 7's

i posted a intro quite a while ago but i will introduce myself again...

my name is RJ im 17 n just about to go to college, i've always like the rx-7 ever since i was a kid playin video games to seeing it in the movies, fast & the furious, i've always dreamed about getting a rx-7. I never knew that there were other generations besides the FD until i came on this forum. In the last month i recently picked up a '89 FC. It has about 20k on the motor, new stage 2 clutch and some other small stuff. I traded a quad for the car and now i'm in the process of redoin the whole body fixin everything to make it some what perfect.

my question is what are some good sites where you can buy some decent products for a good price??

im also confused on what rear spoiler to buy because i want the car to stick out some more. Any help is appreciated and i will get pics up soon

Wrong answer, stock 7 always looks good hahaha.

Check corksport.com. If you want stuff from Japan PM purerx7.

rx7.com is also a good place.

pretty cool deal for trading your quad for a running car. a drop and wheels would be nice. but like everyone said stock is best.

I've only had my FC for about a week, and already got pulled over because of the exaust. I'll be figuring out how to dial it down a bit. Keepin' it real & original.

..............
Awsome, welcome to the family ..
Yea RB (Racing Beat) is the way to go to tone it down, but it still sounds good after 4500 RPM's
As for kits Raceonusa is good like NV T2 SC said, but Aerotrends also has a few kits avail for your car ..

What kind of performance mods you got planned? I'm off central towards Schenectady, near Fuccilo and Metro Ford. I've got a modded FD. Colonie cops are ****** about loud exhausts, maybe not too bad but I just got a ticket for mine so I'm hatin for now. Are you near by?

honestly i have no idea what kind of mods im lookin into, right now i'd like to keep it n/a until i get use to the car. Then i was lookin to put in some sort of turbo. Its just thats goin to cost quite a bit of money so i gotta save up some. It's got a 3" exhaust i believe which makes it pretty loud but im goin to keep it that way until i get a ticket, which hopefully isn't soon.

im new to the car n rotaries so i dont kno much but im lookin to find out everything i can, im defiintly keepin it rotary, no v8 swaps for me. Hopefully once this is done built i can build a nice fd.

94touring- im about 20 mins away, not sure if you heard about it but i live in duanesburg, its like right outside of rotterdam.

Yeah I've heard of it and been out that way before but don't know my way around. I think you're taking a smart approach and I commend for that. Trust me that it's a huge pain in the *** to go from straight up stock to built the **** up. My car isn't over the top or anything it's just that I made upgrades in every department at the same time and that left me working on a budget when my rear turbo blew a seal within 1,300 miles. I'm paying the price, as well as my brother since he actually does the work, for having to get what I could afford instead of exactly what I want.
