Just bought a 91 FC
Hello everyone!
I am Wes and I live down in Alabama. Back in May, I purchased a 91 FC manual NA out of a local junkyard for a few hundred bucks. Complete car minus the passenger seat (for whatever reason). I've always been around fast cars (my brother owns a turbo shop where I work) and 4wd trucks (my dad owned a local 4wd shop and then a dirt bike retail/shop for years). I've always been fascinated by the FC, so when a buddy of mine knew where one was, we went and picked it up shortly thereafter. My 3 older brothers grew up with Grand Nationals, 1st gen RX7, 2nd gen MR2 turbo, WRXs, flathead Fords etc and has had pretty much anything and everything in between. My daily is a 300k+ mile Tundra and this will be my first "car"...and first turbo.
Working for my brother, I knew I wanted a project...and that's what I have now got! I've spent more on interior parts (dash, center bezel, clusters, etc) than I bought the car for lol.
I knew I wasn't going to keep the 13b that was in it (locked up anyways, so I sold it and trans a few weeks ago for a few hundred bucks).
1jzgte or rb25 is looking like the route i'm gonna take. Plan is to paint it white with white or gold wheels and build a ~500hp daily driver with cold AC and heat.
