Hello, just bought a white '91 FC non turbo

Introducing myself, trying to get my post count up! Just bought a '91 FC non-turbo from San Jose. Wanted it for the shell but surprisingly it runs fine after some diagnosis. Had a plugged exhaust with 3 catalytic converters! And some chewed up TPS wires. My dream is to LS swap it and haunt the highways!

Welcome!! Would love to see pictures of the car! You might find that you really enjoy the rotary in the car and may opt to keep it. You'll find with these cars that raw power and speed are not what the car is about. The car is really a balanced platform with a decent amount of power for what it is. The car has a lot to bring to the table with the 13B.

Here are some preliminary photos

Here are some photos of the 1st day. Bought it for $1400. I should have offered less. After I figured out the reason for the weird idle, It wouldn't rev past 3k. I assume a plugged exhaust. It had 3 catalytic converters inline. They were probably all melted!

That's really a clean car for the age!! Ibwould clean the grounds first off for any revving issues. Very common that they need cleaned and will cause issues with the injection system. Keep us updated on what you find wrong!
