Smile Introducing myself, now that I have the car!

Hello all

I have been on the Forum for a few months now, reading and informing myself before purchasing the car, and well, now that I have I think I should introduce myself!

So my name is Jake and I live in Mallorca, Spain. I have always loved the design and style of the RX7 FD, however the "Reliability" issues had been putting me off.
But, considering how the prices are skyrocketing lately, I decided to bite the bullet before they are unachiveable for me, and so, now I am writing this post!!

Anyhow, down to the important matter. The car is from 1995, national from Spain. It's very low mileage, at 31.000kms, and this was the main reason I wanted to buy it, as I am hoping the engine will last! She has been stored away for the past 11 years, being turned on every 5 to 6 months to get the engine warm and running. So yeah it took a bit of a risk I guess...
She has the full +99 spec kit on. I understand OEM, sent straight from Mazda Japan. It also has the carbon fibre blade on the rear wing.
The guy had quite different taste than I and had done a few visual modifications to the car. Unfortunately, it was the beautiful Montego Blue colour from origin, and he decided to paint it white...
So when I have saved up enough again I will revert her back to stock colour, as I love it.

And well, I think that is about all. She is slowly waking up and running better and better. I am putting her through a full maintenance, so all fluids, filters, spark plugs and leads are being changed.
If you have any suggestions I'm all ears.

Thanks to all for accepting me. Haven't really taken any proper photos, but here are two from when I picked her up, and when we changed the headlights back to stock (it had some weird carbon non pop up ones when picked up).

All the best,
Jake
