Hello! I'm Erik from Spartanburg.
Hello Erik here. I have an 86 RX7 GXL that I have had for a year now. I have been lurking for awhile guess it is finally time to post up. Plans for now are just tidy it up, get used to rotaries, and just generally enjoy the car. End goal for the car will be a 20b swap but I do not plan on that being anytime soon.
Some pics of my car.

Hey...Cut it out!

Nice car, very clean with the two-tone paint. The Silver is original on it, but the black was most likely done after the factory. Done well too.
S4 N/A cars (86-88 non-turbos) seem to yield the most impressive results. Mine started out as a stock automatic 87 GXL, but now has a 20B in it
Welcome aboard Erik, THIS IS SPARTAAAA!

Thanks for the welcoming and nice comments on the car. I shouldn't admit to it but the paint is not as awesome as it appears. Pictures never show exactly what it looks like up close. The paint from the firewall back actually almost looks like brushed aluminum or some sort of patina. Also the chassis is actually blue. Not sure of the painting process for Rx7's. It does look great for it's age though. I love the car through and through. It is a blast to drive. I made that joke all the time when i moved here Akagis. Originally from Rochester, New York. I will have to look for you rxtasy3. I'm sure I will hear you before I see you.
