North Enders' Drift Fest meet up!
Erik, Joe, John, Garret, ect, and the VW own(ed)ers! What is the deal for Sunday? Who all is going? Where/when we meeting?
Others are welcome to meet up and roll in together.
I was thinking of meeting in Everett (128th street exit). I know some twisty back roads to Monroe so we can avoid HWY 2 traffic and have some fun.
Speak up if your going!
Steve

i will be there, i usually dont miss the races anway, except saturday is the desperate housewives night and that just isnt appealing. i always think it is funny cause i own(ed) rx7's and my buddies own VW. so i have always kind of incorporated 7's with VW's for some reason. now i own a VW for a daily driver, so thats what im rolling in. i am probebly not going to meet up for a drive but if i spot your TII, i will defintaly check it out.

It was good. Alot of fun to watch total Noobs, and some experienced drifters, slide around a controlled course. The only bad part was the weather. Some good wipe outs and some good drifts.
The highlight of the day for me was seeing the Ground Zero Motorsports FD in the carshow. That FD is perfect.

I was the Black FB. Understeer was the word! Gotta do something the the brakes and also mess with the tire pressure to get the rear to swing farther. Angry Earl was so loud! Had fun, the rain was a bummer. Can't wait for the next event.

Hey where are all the pics??? Any body take any? I thought it was a awesome event well worht the 15 bucks to get in. What was even more amazing was the fact you could enter any car for $50 and drift all day! No holds barred. They let those guys go crazy all day. I would pay more then $50 to have a full day of legal drifting. I still need to check the 240 boards and the 86's, but post them if you got them.

Thank You!
I'm glad everyone enjoyed themself. Personally I'm my worse critic so I seen alot of stuff that went wrong, and things that I will do different at the next one
I will say that without all the help I got there is no way I could have done this event. Especially Torque Steerers,(www.torquesteerers.org) more then less made the drifting a success. Sean judging and making sure Car show ran smooth.
BTW Anyone see the idiot on stage that entered all judging info into program using car number instead of names. I can laugh at myself too. Thanks again to everyone who drove out to see the event.
I would like to also make a special thanks to EO Performance.(http://eoperformance.com) The only performance shop that purchased booth space.
