Hello everyone, my name is Jacob Buehner. I am 25 and live in Taylors, SC. I am married to the love of my life and have two beautiful children. My daughter just started Kindergarten this year, and my Son will be one in a week. I grew up around cars, so I have love for almost all cars in general. I have fallen in love with Japanese cars, and the Mazda RX7 always stood out to me but I never thought I would be able to get one. I ended up buying a blown RX8 to try to rebuild, but then noticed that I could make more money by parting it out in pieces. When I had come up with enough money from the car, I found another toy I wouldn't mind to have.

So luckily I managed to message this guy at the right time, because I just picked up my very first RX7 last week and love it. It is a little rough around the edges, and needs some work, but it was rebuilt in 2014 and runs strong.
It is a 1988 GXL 2+2 and I happened to pick it up for $1100 from a guy that didn't have to time to make it nice. Hopefully I will be able to really turn it into something special. Thanks guys for reading my post. I will post pictures soon.

Welcome to the forum!! You have found the right place for everything RX-7! Do you know any other other history on the car or just that the engine was rebuilt in 2014? Would love to see some pics of the car!!
