how do you guys get thoes oil stains off your driveway?

after many oil changes i have accumulated a lot of oil stains on my cement driveway. now my parents are getting pissed. they say the oil spots make the house look ugly and they have told me that i need to get rid of the oil spots or i cannont park my rx7 in the driveway.

so my question is what do you guys use to get oil stains put of the cement.

Thumbs up

try some type of solvent like carb cleaner and scrub it. if that doesn't work (which it should) then i've heard that good ol' coke works. (the drink, not the powder).

concrete cleaner or i use "oxyclean" from those imformecials and it works. Just soak the stain with it and brush brush brush, let it sit then spray. If it's been in there for a while, it probally has seeped in pretty darn far.

I use brake cleaner, but my garage floor is sealed and it doesn't soak into the concrete.

You get oil in the driveway from oil changes? Mine just comes from the numerous oil leaks on my car Actually, I think only my oil pan is leaking; I figure I'll fix it when I blow the engine.

Just lay down a piece of cardboard the next time you change your oil.

If you have a pressure washer just blast it. No chemicals needed.

I used GUNK engine cleaner and left it for about an hour. Then just hose is off. The grease is disolved and washed away.
