Hey man, sounds like my exact situation. I just pick one up and the motor is on the way out. I'm also want to throw a TII in it. Let me know where you source the engine and exactly how you plan on doing it. Are you going for an S4 motor or an S5?

Hi. I will Put a S4 engine cause it's the easiest way to go. I will try to keep my NA Tranny cause a custom driving shaft would cost too much for my budget. I want to know if i can keep my NA exhaust with removed cats?(only until summer) The engine I've found is a JDM S4 TII, in Montreal. I will do all the job by myself.

Nice, i'm also looking at getting a jdm s4 motor from a company in montreal. I'm not sure if i wanna do it though cause the idea of getting an engine that hasn't run in years scares me.

I believe thats an 86 base, GXLs came in 5 lug and thats a four lug car. Don't run the N/A tranny, you'll blow it man its really not worth it. Mazdatrix sells the correct driveshaft to go from the TII tranny to the N/A rear end and that would be your best best. Good luck bro and looking good.

Hmm okayy, Here's an update of my car thread LOL
I really changed my plans.

Last summer My FC had a S5 NA engine. In october 2009, I had a coolant leak, and overheated my engine.(2nd Time lol)
I wanted something ultimate, and my FC was not a good DD.
So I bought a RX8 for a DD and did not swap my FC.
since I want something ultimate, this weekend I'm getting a 20B, a complete TII Drivetrain and a ACT proLite flywheel.
