Would there be interest?

I don't know how many people really like adding a system to their FD, but I am trying to gauge if there would be any kind of interest for subwoofer boxes build for the FD? At this time, I'm going to be doing a fiberglass box for my 10W7 and I hope to make it custom for the FD and have it fit under the strutbar and everything.

I don't know if anyone else is intersted, but if I get good results who would be interested in me making an enclosure for their FD?

I don't know how much I would charge, but fiberglass work is a lot of labor work, but I'll see the interest if any.

Let me know.

I may get flamed for this, but huge systems don't belong in sports cars

I'm not saying a huge system, I'm talking about an 8 or 10.

If you can figure out how to make a stealth box I think that would be a BIG hit. JL Audio made one for the seven at one time for a 10 inch that blended in with the interior. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore.

Does anyone have a picture of the JL Audio box? That enclosure was in a class by itself.

I believe phinsn98 is talking about the triangle or rotor shaped enclosure JL used to make. Houses 3 tens

The previous owner of my car removed the rear storage bin and had a box built (took a hammer and pry bar to it earlier today). He had not 1 but 2 JL audio 15" woofers!!! I like this. Will be rei-nstalling storage bin.

Why did he remove the bins? Theres no need to remove the bins unless the box drops down to where the bins were?

Pretty clean setup, hows it sound with it firing up? I might go ahead and do my setup like firing up.

Wow that's clean as hell... If only it were for a single 10 or dual 8's...

what I am talking about is a stealth box, this car doesn't need to have bump to get noticed just a single 10 would do for me. Just clean bass.
