Pivot Controller FD Pic

I installed this little box, and actually keep it on 0% and hide it in the column. I can push the retract button (not fully to click) and the lights come up...longer you hold it, the higher they go. No added electronic boxes or ***** to play with.

Now I just need to make some aluminum sheet ducts to force air into the bay thru the very large front harness holes. I'm hoping to get more fresh air into the bay and to the intake...if not, now I have some creepy looking "flash to pass" lights

just thought I'd share my latest fashion exterior mod. Best part is, the retract buttom works like stock and you don't have to fool with "sleepy eye" **** if you don't want to.

I try to keep my FD as close to stock styling as possible

thats just a test light...touch it to the wire/conductor you are looking for and run a wire to a GND point, it will light up; in case you don't have a volt meter.

on my 240sx all i had to do was cut a wire and the pop up button acted as the sleepy eye controller. I will try to find a link to the movie that showed me how. Best of all it$ free.

do it for free, but still have it act as stock??? I doubt it.

hell, I didn't pay $90...even if it were $90, that's probably the cheapest thing I've got on my car, haha!!

also, I plan on making it as functional as possible...with aluminum or FG ducts underneath the head light assembly. Think of it as "$90" towards a fresh air intake for my single intake, which sits above the radiator fans...with a heat shield and ducting from the PS oil cooler duct, but I'm still not satisfied. I want it to be slammed with fresh/cool air.

Heat soak is a bitch in Louisiana heat, and its not even HOT yet.

why don't you just get a vented hood... That way you don't have to do all that. Yeah it costs more then what you are doing, but you can never go wrong with a vented hood.

I like the stock hood. sleeper style

also, a vented hood won't get fresh air to my intake.

and do all what? make some ducts and snip some wires? <--childs play
