Have you ever taken off the stock shift **** its pretty heavy in its own right?

i don't have a stock **** to compare to. i was looking for a stock one or one very similar.

Funny, I was just looking at that one the other day to replace my stock leatherless ****. I think I am going to try it for the price.

Got it today, not a bad fit. I believe it is a bit larger than stock, but I am not sure since mine had no leather!! Good price so I am happy with it.

Thank you for the information. It looks like a good alternative to a more expensive Mazda ****. How about the height? Do you have a stock or short shifter? I had heard that these have a good recess before the threads started. Any ideas on that?

You will be happy with it for the price. The threads do have a good recess, it fits really close to where the stock one was. I do have a short shifter. Only difference for me is how thick it is as opposed to that stock leatherless **** I was using. I can take pics of the two next to each other if you like.

Pictures of the two would be great if it isn't too much trouble. Your installation and interior look good!

Thank you, I am still in the process of finishing my interior. Seats are next!



Here are the two together. That's what I have been rolling with, the stock leatherless one for years! Almost same height, just a bit thicker. Also feel like they are the same weight.
