Im definitely in for the S5 stereo surround as long as the price isn't extremely high. Basically what zachspazz said is the same way i feel.

I got the center console piece made to use as a switch panel. It is VERY sweet!!! Looks very cool, fits great and should turn out to be very functional if i ever get off my *** and install some switches.

I'll ship you a S4 cluster to cut up if you want. I don't need it.

The thing is I would need to cut every one I do. I could do it, though. If you really want that, PM me.

And I will always be making this stuff. Its not a one time deal. Even for the stuff that a need a few people with money down on(like the sunroof panel), I can do it whenever theyre enough interest.

I will be making a mold for fenders within the next few months for myself. After I make mine I wil probably sell some too.

what about a CF cargo cover , mine was falling apart so i just took it off . i think they are expensive from the dealer and you could prob make a CF one for a little more (or less) and it would be a lot better to have . also would you be willing to sell like a CF package . like the cooling panel , center console peice , S5 stereo surround and lets say the cargo cover if you can do it all in one package deal , at a lower price than if i'd buy each peice seperate at diff dates . i just think it would simplify shipping , and i'd like to have it all at once . you'd also get all the $$$ in one shot , and if the package is priced lower than each individual peice would come out to be , possibly attract more buyers . just my idea . so would it be possible ..the CF cargo cover and the package !?

First, I am NOT going to be making hoods for a while. It is simply too expensive to make the mold.

A-pillars, I could do that. We'll have to see about the package thing once I get all of the individual prices worked out. But it sounds like a good idea.

The cargo cover needs a few people with money down to cover the mold. Once enough people have arranged for one with me, i will start making them. Also, the first few people who put money down to make it happen will get a little bit of a price break, like 10-15%.

Nah I don't want a CF gauge cluster, I was gonna give you one to use as a mold (in case you ever needed one) in hopes of getting a break on something else in the future

I have lots of extra **** laying around if you need it.

CF door sills...those would be badass. Can we get an idea of how much we're looking at spending for some of these items? I'd be personally interested in...

1. A CF Center Console, or Radio/Gauge bracket system
2. Door sills
3. A Carbon Fiber TID
4. Mickey Mouse style gauge holder (mounts on top of gauge cluster, allows for two gauges)

Here's an interesting idea for some of those people with faded interiors. Carbon Fiber door inserts, the cloth area right above the door handle. I would be interested except my doors are finished in classy black leather.

If anybody wants CF headlight covers, I could do those. NACA scoop?

The radio surround will/shifter surround will be about ~$200 for the stock copy, and the flat front one will be ~$150 or so. Price will be the same for S4 or S5. Cooling panel $85 shipped. The hatch cover will be ~$200 also. I havent worked up rough prices yet for the other things. I will cut 15% off the price for a package of 3 or more things at once.

The elbow is a possibility, but the tube would be much cheaper and easier of of alum. I could wrap the alum tube in CF if you wanted, but there would be a seam on the bottom of the tube.

I could make the mickey mouse guage pods much easier with a core, and laying cf over that after I add the guage pods. That would keep the price very reasonable.

Mazdaspeed7 makes the world's greatest CF parts!

now, where's the hookup?!

really, the stuff is cool. Making CF takes talent and patience. The products show that he has both.

The door sills seem like a pretty good idea but how would you be able to do that? I also like the idea for the gauge cluster and I'm looking at the one right beside me and I can see the difficulty that you would have trying to remove the clear plastic from it. Maybe you should get a vote from everybody about what your next project should be. Have you had no interest in the hoods. I know you could sell the t2 hoods because there is alot of interest in those. I know because I'm trying to get one.

Okay. PM me with how much to send as a deposit on the S4 radio surround w/o holes, door sills, and the cargo cover. This piece lets me use my hatches still, right? I need access to my battery!

sounds like a lot of people are just throwing ideas out . i would like a guesstimate for the surround for a series5. i might also be interested in the inserts . maybe start another post with those who are 100% on a stereo surround for their series 5 to get this ball rolling? how long would it take you to make the mold and start producing them? how many minimum to make the mold?

wouldnt door sills get scratched to hell?
I personally think a cnc aluminum would be better as in longer lasting.
How hard is the surface of the CF?
cause not like aluminum wont scratch to hell. It's fairly soft too.

CF is really quite scratch resistant. It would be at least as scratch resistant as alum, and more so than the stock plastic.

E6KT2, youre willing to drop a $100 downpayment on the cargo cover, right? If so, thats the three confirmations I need to start. PM me about payment, I can start within a week of getting the downpayments(I need to order the materials). It will come with fiberglass mounts nearly identical to the stock ones. If you already have the mounts on your car(it had a stock cover), let me know so I dont have to make you a set of the mounts.

For the prices, look in my post above. I listed them there. The price will be the same for S4 or S5 surrounds. There appears to be enough interest in the S5 ones, so I will be making both for sure. Ill start a specific thread once I have the molds made.

Ill look into the intake thing. Might offer it as a kit with an intake adapter for S4 engines. The kit depends on how soon I learn how to weld alum, so I can make the adapter. It would be a lot easier for me to make the whole thing out of alum though, even the elbow. Make it one piece from the TB to the MAF sensor. Sound like a good idea?

Anybody want the headlight covers? Want NACA scoops on them?

I'm making a mold for headlight cover with a scoop. I should have that ready pretty soon.

It won't be a NACA style though...

anybody have any pictures of the cargo cover
I think I've seen it before, but doesn't it just go right below the top of the rear strut towers and cover the cargo area?
And this entire thing will be CF?
Do they mount to the hatch to lift with the hatch too, like on other cars?

And what does NACA mean. Same as the other headlight scoops you always see?
