Anyone have experience fitting Bride Zieg III Lowmax? I just sat in one at Super Autobacs and it was a great fit even with my size!

heres what I learned about rails, so far. please correct if wrong.

LF = lowest position. can only be used on low max seats.
FG = low to super low mounting.
FO = stock to low height
FX and IG = fixed position

those are all the side mount rails. sorry, not concerned about reclining models

A quick update on the Sparco EVO seats with Bride rails. Have everything installed and did some extra trimming on the left and right back bottom of the bucket to drop the seat in between the Bride rails. Fitment is now perfect for me and the angle of the seat great. I'm very happy with the outcome and driving position and the seats are very comfortable. Also very supportive as I took the car through the Tail of the Dragon. No sliding back and forth, just planted and comfortable.

So, to recap, the Sparco EVOs will fit with the R039LF and R040LF Bride rails. You also need the LF side plates (A25NPO) for a side mounted seat like the EVO. Contrary to what is posted in the summary, I know of no way to mount the EVOS with the stock rails as the EVOs are side mounting seats. In addition, you need some serious trimming to the upper side bolsters and the inside left front passenger bolster to get everything to fit. If you are 6 feet and above, you'll want to trim the back left and right of the bottom seat bucket to allow the seat to drop down into the last bolt hole to give yourself more headroom clearance and to have a better seating angle.

I just mounted my Status Ring seats, using Bride RO39LF and R040LF sliders and side mount brackets. They fit well, minor rubbing of the driver seat shoulder bolster on the door, and passenger seat cannot be slid too far forward or will start rubbing on the center console. For me either of these things are a non-issue. There is a small amount of R-L adjustment when you mount the sliders to the rails because of the slotted holes, so it may be able to be made a bit better. But, the seats are such a pain in the dick to install that I dont care that much at this point.

^haha... yea I understand that. It's like the task of installing them is such a pain that it doesn't matter how they fit by the time they're actually in.

I just tried fitting recaro srd/speed on the fd, it looks like it can fit , if you trim your interior panel but other wise it's leaves zero room for any movements.

3. Gias Lowmax
4. Bride Zeta III
5. Bride Vios III lowmax
6. Mazdaspeed Type-F
7. Memoryfab s58
8. Corbeau - some models, they supply the custom racks.
9. Sparco Sprint V
10. Recaro Profi and or SPG ( with slight rubbing to the door but not much, if you use Recaro rails instead of bride it will fit fine)
11. Sparco Roadster
12. Sparco EVO with stock seat rail (shoulder bolster will rub on the door)
13. Sparco Milanos
14. Memory FAB S58
15. Recaro Spirit R will fit with AUTO POWER 6 point cage
16. Recaro RS-G (All versions)
17. Bride Artis II (driver)
18. Bride Artis II Navi (passenger)

Will fit with modifications

1. Corbeau FX1 - fits with seat modification. Corbeau FX1 Install in FD
2. Sparco Evo 2 - - fits with seat modification.
3. Rx-8 seats (can be made to fit by modifying the racks)
4. Cobra Imola (with some minor triming of door side shoulder wing)
5. Sparco Torino 2 (modify the stock rails and get rid of the seat belt buckle they fit (barely))
6. Recaro Sportster CS seats placed on stock rails (tight fit) http://users.telenet.be/sammyrx7/ima...29_JPG_jpg.jpg
7.Bride Vios III lowmax WITH AUTOPOWER 6 POINT CAGE, must notch the side of the frp
bucket for the side bars to fit. Everything else fits!
8. Recaro Pole Positions (HEAVY modification)
9. Recaro R3's RX8 Seats (Custom Rails) Fits perfect, can adjust front to back. Lose plastic gas leaver trim. That is all
10. Momo Start (fits but shoulder wing will rub the door or can be trimmed)

Will NOT fit

1. Sparco Fighter
2. Corbeu fx1 pro fit with no problems ,but if you have an autopower 6pt roll cage you won't be able to run the front of the cage because the seat sits high and blocks the halo bars.
3. Sparco Circuit Pro

**updated**

This past weekend I fitted my Recaro Pole Position in the FD. The fit is pretty close all around but in the end it doesnt touch the door panel or rub on the center console. Keep in mind my seat is fix mounted using a Planted Technologies seat base and Recaro side mounts. Both the base and side mounts required me to drill new holes which took 10 minutes. It sits slightly lower than stock but I have a base so no sunroof helps.

Buddy club p1 seats fit with approx. 2 inches of space between the shoulder and the door panel

Edit: I made custom brackets so I'm not sure if other brackets will work or not

I can find out in a month or so. I ordered a set from Japan for my other car. I may have to do a test fit in the RX7.

I bet Tillet racing seats would fit in an FD easily... they're pretty expensive though. And the carbon look is a little gaudy.

dont bother too wide, you wont be able to fit them unless you start cutting into the seats... not much room to recline either... tried already...

Recaro SRD
Recaro Speed

none of those fit correctly.

I run Ultrashield aluminum seats in my FD. Sorry I don't have pics at the moment, but I used Atomic Rex mounts and had to modify the rear side mount holes on the seats to get them to fit the mounts. I think if you had Kirkey side mounts or the like and could make your own base plates that would work as well.

I run 16" seats on both sides without any fit issues. You could probably squeeze a 17" witg minor modification. I have seat back braces mounted to the cross bar on ky roll bar. Let me know if you have any other questions.
