Lexus is300

I just bought a lexus IS300 and i will be putting a system in it shortly. Most likely 2 12's and an amp or 2 if need be. But I don't want to have trunk rattle just wondering if it would be better to try to sound proof the trunk or try to do something custom and like put them under the back seat or something. Does anyone have any expierence with system's in cars with trunks. Most likely all this will be done by a shop also.

Dynomat is the ****. Line the whole trunk with it. Make sure you put a strip on the back of the license plate as well.

It makes your car heavy though, but if you aren't worried about performance, line the doors with it too!

Also try expandable foam...works awesome in my LS400. Dont do anything like put them under the seats or anything. Thats a waste of money and your system's potential will drop big time

Look for dynomat on the web for the best price and texture. They make different grades of material for better results. If you get the right stuff you won't have to buy or apply as much to get the same result.
