IS300 rims on '87 FC3S

I have an '87 fc3s and I was wondering if some lexus IS300 wheels will fit on the car correctly if I do the five lug conversion. The reason I am wondering is because I can get the IS wheels for free from a friend and think that they would look pretty good on the rx7. The only problem is that I need to go five lug (not too expensive from what I've seen) and I know that those wheels may have a weird offset (don't want them to stick out, ya know?). Let me know if anyone has an idea. Thanks.

Get the width and the offset?
I think the offsets are rather deep...
7" +50 or 8" +50?

You'll need spacers just like with FD wheels.

10mm min.
I'd go like 1/2" or 13mm.

+50 is weak
I'd get a 20-30 mm spacer

Thanks guys.

+50 is kinda weak. But free trumps weak. Even if I don't like them I can sell them to someone how does.

Not worth the effort being narrow with a bad offset. They're probably reasonably heavy too. What fits nicely is some 17x8 30mm offset wheels and 225/45/17's all around. Mustang GT wheels fit the bill perfectly and are quite cheap and readily available.

225/40 and 235/40 aren't normally available sizes. How about 225/45 or 235/45?

235/40/17 is a normally available size, lots of tires have that size. Not as many as a 225/45/17, but still some. I've seen 225/40/17's too.

for 17s, the 225/40 be will hard to come by.

235/40 is a common size.

Look into Falken FK452, lots of great sizing

I have Kumho MX's 245/40/17 in the front and 255/45/17 in the rear. You just have to get wheels with the right offset.
