Questions Of a Newbie

Hello,
I recently crashed my lexus Is300 slipping on ice. Yes, its totalled. I have about 16k as of now to spend with about 4k increase each month. Some of the basic questions i have are. I will be getting an Rx7 within the next month or so and i wanted to know is it best to rebuild a motor or replace it with a higher performance rotary to hold higher Hp and boost. I had a turbo kit in my lexus and was putting out about 375rwph and wanted alot more out of my next car. What are the best upgrades for power. I know these are newbie questions but i need to start somewhere if anyone has links on where to learn all this stuff it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Alot.

If you think 375rwhp will not be enough in an FD, your in for a big suprise!! I suggest driving a stock FD before you start modding. These cars are a lot lighter than IS300's.

And lot worse on ice. Think VERY carefully before buying.
