When i Clearcoated the Bumper Guard, I used a high temp paint that's supposed to be able to take the heat. That clear coat would take the heat before the cf/resin ever would. Also, This CF taking the heat is MUCH better than your stock bumper. That's the purpose of it all. I had a lot of crap/black stuff on my bumper and saw that my bumper was well..not looking the same. Thus the bumper Guard.
