what's with the VACUUM HOSES
I own a GSL-SE, but I've seen a lot of 3rd gens and there's literally no room to get around... all those VACUUM HOSES... couldn't you just get rid of them and just have an intake and a turbo and the air pump and stuff... One guy showed me before HOW TO take out the OIL DIPSTICK... requires some gymnastic bending... I'm pretty sure you don't need all that hoses and stuff...

ooh yeah my GSL-SE engine bay is an empty room compared to the FD... but the POWER compared to the FD is like an empty room too...lol... I WISH I could get a FD 13B and a custom turbo AND without all those vaccum hoses... and drop it in my GSL-SE... maybe in 5 years...

there are ways to rid the hassel of all of the vacuum lines, there are more modifications that must be done to do this! A single turbo also gets rid of like fourty hoses!

Yeah a standard turbo setup typically only uses ONE vacuum line for the BOV (I've installed a few kits though all of them were t3/t04e turbos with deltawastegate...) I'm still baffled as to why Mazda figured they needed as many as they have (what is it 74?) but it is their car and I'm sure there is a method to their madness.

All the vacuum lines are needed - trust me. When I got my car back from the f*cking dealership (don't ask) I had like 10-15 hoses improperly connected or left loose, and my turbo system was not working at all. I don't think they would have included something that didn't need to be there (well, except the little pieces of hose running from the BOV and CRV to the airbox)

Thats why FD's are soooooo powerful... its in the Vacuum Hoses I tell you... the more the faster it is!! What was Mazda thinking!!! hahaha...
just kidn people... The 3rd gen rx7 is by far the most complicated. This i mean the sequential turbo. I'll say i respect who ever did the sequential system as it is so darn quick in stock form for a 1.3cc
This sequential system is also the main reason, on top of stupid Mazda dealers not able to service them, contributes to the many boost related problems.
But people can do the simplification setup to reduce the hoses from 70+ to around 40+?? going non-sequntial leaves you with around less than 10 hoses and going single uses at least 2 hoses....
