Interior gauges

So I have my boost Gauge on my steering column at the moment.
But I was curious, I'm adding 3 temp gauges and A/F. Im up for getting a new boost gauge cause I want to keep it uniform.
But I was curious on everyone's opinion and best places for daily driven/tracked FD for these 5 gauges. I originally was gonna stick all the temp gauges on the passenger glove box but I'm not a hundred percent sure if I want to.
And maybe any preferences or knowledge on gauge brands.
Any knowledge an opinions are welcome I'm open to anything.
Thanks for the help in advance guys!

In the second pic from the bottom is my set-up.

Boost and Water Temp in the pod, Oil pressure, Wide Band and Oil Temp in the din pannel.

I don't have a problem seeing them while driving.

All the pressure/temp gauges are Defi, WB is autometer.

That looks really good!
Only thing is I have a double din haha
Do u think I should get a oil pressure as well?
And I was thinking either pillar dash or passenger airbag with a certain combination
And maybe keep my boost on the steering column

I was originally going to do Defi, but they dont have sideband, one of my fc buddies said to check out stack pro gauges, anyone know anything about those?

Get you some SPA dual gauges. 2 gauges in one. It will save you space and they are stand alone electrical gauges. Then if you really want to keep the interior very clean do this.

DEFI has gauges that match the FD's stock gauges very nicely..

I was also going to suggest this. You could do all the info you want in ONE gauge, leaving it right where you have it now. (or two if you wish to keep a separate boost gauge) The gauge face may be designed to display any way you wish, even to match the stock interior.

http://www.plxdevices.com/imfd.html

Each sensor module costs about the same as many other gauges you just have to buy the $200 multi-gauge. And if you planned on purchasing additional mounting plastics then this setup would keep you on the same budget or very close to it...

Anyone know anything about the stacks

The PLXs are really Cool Idea I don't like the idea of having to switch and flip through them tho
But besides that, it's a genius idea.

Can you get two on the steering column, like next to each other without it being in the way or gaudy?

Forgot about the PLX. With the PLX you can display up to 6 parameters at once I believe. Stacks gauges are good also. Another gauge that matches the OEM gauges are Spek gauges and they have all sort of gauges and you can adjust the color.

Forget about the PLX? The best option for multi-display and all digital 10 times per second sampling? Okay. Each gauge can display up to 4 parameters per gauge. I track 8 (AFR, boost, vacuum, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, EGTs, and AIT) so I use two displays

A few shots of the various configuration options available (pics of my car):

"Regular" gauge mode - you can pick any colors for the lines, needles, tick marks:

Or display as a digital number readout (yes, the colors are configurable)"

4 parameters at once - I use this setting when cruising around. Great, one-stop area to check on the health of the engine:

Graph of parameter, great for data logging trends:

FYI:

Warnings are also configurable for individual parameters (i.e. water temp above X) or for multiple parameters (i.e. boost above X AND AIT above X). Pretty cool stuff actually.

I just would rather not to have to worry about changing the gauge display. I'm not worried about how stock or sleek it looks to that degree, don't wanna be a fighter jet but not that big of a deal

I always keep mine in the 4 parameter view mode so I can see 8 things at once in two gauges. No other gauge setup gives you this flexibility.

The only time I change this is when I go to the dyno and then I display digital AFR and boost. So, no changing for me but it is nice to know you can have any look you want if needed.

Not gonna lie...those PLX gauges are pretty fkn' sick looking.

I only have a 2-pod A-Pillar setup too...and it would be cool to have Boost on one, then AFR/coolant temp/oil temp/etc. on the lower one...

Man....technology rocks. lol

I think you miss understood what I said. I was stating that I forgot about the PLX gauges. The only thing I don't like the PLX gauges is that each sensor requires a drain box that are a decent size.

Definitely matches the FD's stock gauges...

$244.39 is a bit ridiculous though..

What makes these gauges so special that they are that expensive?

RX7 store sales them cheaper than that.

http://www.rx7store.net/Spek_Pro_Gau...ro%2030231.htm

What I like about them is that they match the OEM gauges even with the chrome bezel then your choice of white or black face gauge. Also that they are stand alone electrical gauges with peak and hold and warning functions without external boxes.

I've been thinking about putting two for these in my Mickey Mouse ears.

Yes, I misunderstood. As for the boxes, mine are mounted under my carpet in the drivers side footwell.
