How much was your paintjob?

I'm thinking about painting my car because I'm tired of Montego Blue. How much did you guys pay for respraying to a different color? Did your paintjob include the engine compartment?

A nice paintjob to a different color including engine compartment, door seals, etc would run you 4k+....the engine compartment is very labor intense because you have to remove everything...

yes once you start doing jambs and engine bays, its just stupid on how many hours can be spent. I am doing all my work by myself. The paint, primer, and clear coat has run me 600-800 dollars, not including body filler and sand paper. I'm sure when I'm done it should equate to a 6k to 10k job.

goes to show you that money doesn't buy you taste, or modesty for that matter.

What is that under your front lip? Kinda looks like some guard from scraping....or am I seeing things?

it's a guard for scraping... a temp. one I made out of lexan, I'm working on an alum. underskirt... the entrance to my driveway is kinda steep and it scraps pretty bad... and I really don't feel like having the lip repainted every 3 months...
