i started giving the se a rattel can paintjob today, its sun yellow, im doing two full coats of rattlecan and then 3 clearcoats of hard clearcoat with a spray gun
the color is almost a pastel yellow and its lookin good so far

plus the paintjob is costing me all of like 10 bucks, (walmart 99cent paint cans) and my dad has clearcoat and a paint gun....

 

Yeah, it can be done. it's all about how well it's prep-ed. spray paints, some use good paint and cost more and others have crap for paint. one thing about spray paints even krylon is that the colour(s)from can to can sometimes vary,,,alot .
so buy enough paint at one time to paint the car. i spray painted my -SE and for a spray can paint job it turned out really good. make sure the clear coat is UV rated.
