I think it depends. Big aluminum wing on a civic......gay. Mazdaspeed GTC wing on an FD..... It depends on the type of wing I guess, and on what car. Ive seen some FDs with some pretty nasty aluminum wings, just ruined the car. I dont particularly think that Ive seen an FC that it looked good on though, just because of the design of the rear, there is nowhere to mount it without brackets that look stupid.

I personally don't like them, but when they're put on a car to actually serve a purpose, I don't mind them.
Just slapping one on your car so it looks like it's a racecar is gay.

I see huge double deckers on stock civics all the time and I puke. I almost want to get out and rip it off.
BUT , I would want a small one for my car. I think they look tastefull fcs looks really neat. Anyone see the yellow panspeed one? looks cool. And the red one that was floating on the forum. That also looks sick.

I have always hated the way aluminum spoilers looked. But they have been growing on me a little bit, for some cars. It just depends what car and how high now. I actually saw a pic of an FC with one that was pretty low and it looked decent from the front. Dunno bout from the back though.

I think big racing wings on mad tyte cibics looks mad
But when my car is all said done (pretty much full race car...havent decided on drag or wheel to wheel) It will have a fully functional carbon fiber wing.
So it all depends on the application, and the purpose...

its simple, if it serves a purpose then its good and its there for a purpose and it doesnt matter wha it looks like.
if you put one on your civic and you now have to worry when you drive under underpasses and and power lines then its really funny but still ghey.

LOL nice double decker wing on your front wheel drive car! Do you have a problem with to much traction? Or do you like having to call the tower @ your local airport for clearance to drive down the highway?

I think its very funny that people keep saying "if it serves a purpose". Are you trying to tell me that those little tiny fiberglass spoilers on all those cars today are functional? I dont like spoilers in general for that reason, theyre pointless.

i think it depends on the car and the amount of hp you are pushing, i imagine there is some street legal car out there that needs that wing to catch the downforce, i would never put one on a 7 thought that is one of the 7 sins
