Best security system?
NOw I know alot of it depends on how its installed, but disregarding that. Whats the best?
Iwas going to get a clifford, but then I talked to a local audio shop (one of the best in my town IMO). He use to carry clifford, but when I talke to him he told me that ever since DEI bought clifford there security systems went to crap. He says they got so bad that he dosn't carry thme anymore. He carrys autopage now and says they are pretty good.
Arond here I'm limited to python, viper, alpine, autopage, an then whatever circuit city and best buy carry.
What do you guys think is the best out of those?
Thanks for any help

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
I myself would use Python/Viper/Sidewinder or Alpine.
But the most important thing about alarms is not the alarm but who is installing it.
All the big 4 (Clifford/DEI/Alpine/Code Alarm) make good products. Its the installer that makes them work.

Yellow Dragon is no more
I think they took the Clifford theories of security and threw them out the window. They now appear to repackage DEI units as Clifford units ... might as well buy a DEI.

run a normal viper security system, but throw in a kill switch running from the power line to the fuel pump, when you get out fo the car, hit the switch (hidden of course) and no worries.
