Make sure you are searching in the right forum section. Sometimes when I'm searching for parts, I inadvertently click the wrong section. I'm like "WTF? I know I saw a thread on WTB ECU."

I'm a noob and was able to use the search function before I even signed up for the board. Maybe you're using a search string that is too short or too specific? I am usually searching for broader topics like premix and suspension setups, so I get pages of responses. If nothing else, I can confirm that being new does not eliminate the search function. Are you inputting the code properly to initiate the search?

think about what words you would use to describe something you're looking for...try many different words...

Using quotation marks sometimes helps also.
