Why is my tach bouncing around?

Ok, so my car is running just great, thanks to Jay, the master tunner! I noticed yesterday that when I get on the throttle hard, my tach starts to bounce around. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? It's bouncing around like 1000-2000 rpm incriments!

waht do you all think?

You need to ground it properly.

same thing happens to me
I've been told you need a resistor on the coil Tach signal

I've yet to try it myself since my car is down for upgrades

On mine if I'm crusing at 3k the tach would start jumping back and forth to 7k

But the car drives normal
It use to die when it did this till I hooked up the ground wire that is by the Haltech ECU
