Whats the difference between the E6X

Im looking for an E6X.
Found one for a great price, but I think its the "old" version.
I will using it to run an NA application, so I think it should do the trick, but I want a plug n play harness.

The older boxes didn't have the onboard 2.5bar MAP sensor. Other than that you can update the firmware of the oldest boxes and have the same thing as the newest version. Since you are running an NA application you'll want to use a 1 bar MAP to maximize resolution anyway so I'd say there is no reason to not save some cash and go with the older box.

Unfortunately there is not a plug in loom offered by Haltech for the E6X that works with any of the RX-7s. I've done custom looms to fit and there may be others so that is one option. But currently, the E8 is the only ECU that has the plug in looms for the 2nd gen. Nothing available for the 3rd gen.

Drop me an email if you have more questions or are looking for parts. ludwigmotorsports@insightbb.com

What would you charge for such a loom?
I know I would be able to do it myself, but with the time I have, it would be a 3 year project.
