What in the Sam Hell ? How do I go about changing inj Size in E6K ?

I got Kan to make me a E85 Map for my Big Injector Setup. But, I want to fire up the car on my current map/gas for the first time just until I'm sure I got the bugs out, no leaks. Then, I'll load up the new map.

My current map is loaded up for 720cc primary injectors, how do I change it to 1680cc injectors ? I've played around in it a little but can't find it

My old power fc, you just simply imputed the cc size. Is the E6K not like that ?

Its called milliseconds of injector opening. There is no size to input you tune it in your fuel map.

So, going from 720cc to 1680cc............. I would need to drop the milliseconds quite a bit huh ?

I haven't even played with the E6K map yet ? Will I need to adjust cell by cell or can you adjust a row at a time ?

Again, only I would need the basics of the E6K dumbed down

I think your going to have a very difficult time idling 1600cc injectors with the E6K. Without sequential injection I don't see how your going to get any kind of decent idle below 1500 rpm.

Well, I'll have to do the best I can. This is my only option.

Yeah. Tearbo has 4 x 1680 cc and he idles just fine in his 780 rwhp monster, but he has an e11v2.

720/1680 = 43% The 720 injector is 43% the size of the 1680. So everything being equal you would remove 57% of the on time from the 720 map to work with the 1680.

If your current map has a load bar at say 4.5mS you would multiply 4.5 by 43% to get 1.935. The E6K allows you to do percentage changes across the selected range of bars. Below the staging bar you would remove 57%. Alt-P then enter -57. Over the staging bar (assuming you had a 720/1680 combo and now have a 1680/1680) you would remove 28%. I forget your injector setup but if you have 6 injectors total and 4 of them come on line past the staging bar you would remove 53% over a 720/1680 map.

Those are rough guesstimates and it never works out down to the percentage because the injector lag for the larger injectors comes into play which throws everything a bit out of whack. But it'll get you close.

Oh boy... Eric, don't bother modifying your existing map. I added X% for E85 fuel consumption requirement. It's too complicated to modify your current map. I'll create another one for you.

just email me your specs again with the inj size for pump gas and I'll get you something to get the car running.
