Haltech stock O2 to haltech? and help with ignition?

stock O2 to haltech? and help with ignition?

can i wire my stock O2 sensor to my E8 loom? i have the flying lead loom. also, how can i wire the stock ignition to the harness?

Yes you can wire any of the stock one wire O2 sensors into any of the Haltech's O2 sensor input. It's really only useful for part load O2 correction though. I personally don't bother with narrow band O2 sensors.

To help you wire up the ignition we'll need to know what series your car is and what ECU you are using. Actually, the subject has been covered to death and searching will give you the answers you need.

its a s4 with an s5 tii motor, e8 ecu, and i searched and couldnt find what i wanted. spot skater did something on it and now i cant find it. if you can direct me to it, thats all i need.

If you look through your manual you will find exactly what to do. Like Chris said this has been covered to death. In short, use a 3 or 4 wire sensor, the single wire sensor is totally worthless.

i found something about the ignition and that helped me out. the haltech book? and yea i was trying to aim away from buying one, but alright, thanks man.

eh i wouldnt say they are worthless. the single-wire o2 should work fine for closed loop control, and they are cheaper sensors

E8 can do closed loop off the wideband though.

And closed loop is for lazy bums who don't tune out the cruise ranges well enough
