Question about injector wiring
The haltech manule isent really clear on how to wire them, Do i supply 12v switched and ground them thru the haltech, or the haltech drives them and i ground them somewhere?
This is for a E6X
This is kinda of unrelated, but i have the aeromotove FPR, when i turn the key to pressurize the system, the gauge i have on there shoots to well over 70 psi then slowly goes back down to around 30-25 and holds. Is my unit defective or how do i adjust it to make it work correctly?
Thanks.

If the E6X is anything like th E6K, the wires for the injectors go through the Haltech harness.
Polarity doesn't matter.
It sounds like the FPR is installed incorrectly or defective - it should not be doing that.

Thanks reted, I have just one more question, I am using the stock primary's and upgraded seconradys for my fuel system, the e6x allows you to pick voltage for the injectorys, it gives you to choises 4a and 8a, which do i run for the stock injectors?
Thanks

your FPR, needs to be adjusted, loosen that nut on top and turn the set screw CCW, until ~40psi. Mine is set at 38psi during idle.
power the injectors with big R/G and then colored (P, LB, etc) wires are the gnding drivers.

Thanks, that exactly what i did, but i was worried, considering the haltech manules doest help that much!.....Ive noticed with my fpr, what when i adj it to hold a higher pressure it stays, but when it get to the 38 psi mark it loses pressure fast down to about 20 psi, I hope that makes sence

How fast? it won't hold pressure for long. Best thing to do is get it in the mid 40's...then back it down once the engine is idling. I don't think you can set it and be done with it, from just priming the system. Once vacuum (idle) is introduced that's when you want it to be around 38psi.
A couple units of the aeromotive FPR have been bad...so if you can't get it right once the car is idling don't rule that out.
