--Premix Directions?--

What steps do you have to do to premix? What oil do you use? (2 stroke?) Castrol, lawnmower 2 stroke? How much do you put in during fill up? Please reply...

2-stroke

Preferably synthetic 2-stroke but not absolutely necessary. 1oz per gallon is an average. People have mixed opinions on brands. Just buy the good stuff.

O.K. I got the idea about what tyoe of oil to use. 1oz per gallon? Are you saying I have to put in 15oz of oil during fill up?

If I remember right you do. Do a search and you should find info on it. You can also check the instructions on the bottle and go for a 125:1 ratio for the street.

Most people agree on different ratios for different set-ups.
I recommend a 200:1 ratio if you are still using the OMP, and 100 to 128:1 with it blocked off.
I run 100:1 with my Non-OMP TII

Can you pass by CA emissions running 125:1 with the OMP disconnected? I'd like to run premix and not worry about controlling the OMP, but if it won't pass...

I just went over the premix thing with the guys of Pepe Loco Racing. They told me, with that excessive (16oz per tank) I'll be fouling out plugs every other week. They recommend 2-5 per fill up.

Yeah, believe all you want.&nbsp I run 16oz (Valvoline Multi-Use premix) per tank, and my FC only fills up at 13-14 gallons.&nbsp I run NGK BUR9's in all four corners, and they come out clean for the past 2 years...

I call your advice BULLSHIT...

I just started running pre-mix because my TPS bracket was getting in the way of my OMP rod.

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't run premix?

I'm running 1 oz. for every gallon. I just stick half of a quart in every tank.
