ok me again lol wideband q? with e6k
i got an autometer wideband and i cant get to work read acurate on the e6k i got the e6ku programn n it wl read but not accurate any ideas,,,,as always help is appreciated
E6KU.EXE will only work with the M&W UEGO wideband unit for displaying direct air/fuel ratios. Otherwise, for every other wideband, you'll have to take the 5VDC output off the controller box and wire it into the Spare A/D on the Haltech. From there, you'll get the voltage datalogged.

E6K has no way of displaying anything other than voltage. The E6KU.exe version that Brian speaks about only will work with one particular wideband calibration.
If what ever wideband you use has a table indicating what voltage equals what AFR, just log that 0-5V signal and keep it in your head to what voltage it needs to be at for the AFR you'll need.
Otherwise, if you need to properly display and datalog wideband signals with a Haltech, you'll need an E8 or E11v2. Realistically the benefits outweigh the investment.

With the E6X there a work around, when you do datalogs you can open the file in excel, and apply a formula to the mV column and get AFR, you will need to know how your particular brand of WB gets AFR from the voltage. Most will have that in their documentation.
