I do have 12v to the trialing coil pack during cranking. I'm not getting any rpm idication on the engine data page. Could someone draw up a scetch of exactly how the trailing coil should be wired?

Are you getting an RPM reading on the ECU datastream on your laptop while you're cranking it?

 

No, nothing. When I turn the key to ignition on I get a slight stutter from the stock gauge and the haltech reading goes up to 63 rpms for a second.

 

How is your CAS wired?

What are your gain and filter settings?

 

God damn it!!! I was so close! I found this thread and it f in started. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ghlight=no+rpm. So I started at a trigger angle of 70 and a trigger and home gain of 1. I would try and start it. Nothing and each time I would increase by one on both and crank it. I made it to f in 5 and finally got rpm on the data page. Then on six I was getting fuel and spark. Real rough and I could tell the timing is totally off. But for about five seconds it ran. I ended up running the battery dead. I put the charger on it and went and made some adustments and F#*^. I can't replicate what I did. For a second time I didn exactly what I first did and now nothing again. I am so f in pissed. I was ready to get a timming light and zero that bitch but no. Man I am gonna have a good hangover tommorrow.
