Angry Still can't get trailing to fire...............................

Checked wiring again, and then a few more times after that. I mean, there's only 4 wires so it gets kind of old

With the key on, I get 12V to the two Tan Wires.

With the plug out of the motor and grounded, I turn the key to try and start the car, the plug sparks in the ON position and then when I turn the key in the OFF position, it will spark again. But, won't spark while the motor is turning over.

I also swapped out another trailing igniter today with no luck.

Also, I've got the ign toggle picked.

Anything else I should try?

Which gray wire?

Pretty sure I don't have the stock main relay? Where is that located?

I just check, I DO LOSE 12V ON THE TAN WIRES WHILE CRANKING THE CAR, What would cause this?

I followed the instructions on BDC's website, well everything except the wiring of those two TAN Wires. Those two tan wires are wired into the relay under the dash.

Pink wire to White/Black
White wire to Green/Black
Yellow, to Tach

Update, I did what you said. I wired the two tan wires to my alternator for a constant 12V. Now, I have Good Trailing Spark While Cranking.

Now, where's the best place to tap into a constant 12V switched source or does it matter?

yes it does matter becuase if u chose the wrong one ull be back in the same boat ha.
i used a wire from the stock harness connector that had 12v switch and STAYED ON while cranking.
if u have a s5 there is one on the green connector by the leading coil. it is a plug with 6 holes in it but i think only for wire go to it.
u can tap into the one ine the top middle where the notch is on the plastic connector.

Well, I have a 1st gen with a TII swap. So, the wires aren't all in the same place as your TII. But, if I can find a 12V switched source that stays on all the time, that will work right?

son of a bitch, that E85 gives me a headache

See, that's why I count on you guys. You guys are too smart Me on the other hand,

Okay, another simple question. What's the easiest way to lean out the idle? Is there a way to lean out a whole rpm row at a time? I know this is the basics for you guys, but for me

I've got some fuel flowing through my motor, the block is ice cold

The up and down arrow. Look trough the Manuel for the function keys, you'll be glad you did.

Same here I got mine to fire right up, but no trailing and it shakes/does not pur. Viking once you got the trailing firing did she smooth out?

Did you play with the triggers or they just came on?
