Question Help to find 1/8NPT Water sensor?

Being such a maestro of masochism, I've made EVERYTHING in my latest project RX-7 custom. One of my most success immolations has been the "genius" to revamp the entire coolant system for use with a Craig-Davies Electric Water Pump (EWP).

So what do this have to do with Haltech, well one of my problems is that I need to plumb in THREE water temp sensors (E6K, EWP, and HKS water temp gauge) and I only have one place currently set up (without the added complexity of welding a boss to the CUSTOM C&R radiator). Since there is no longer a water pump housing with it's convenient NPT access ports, I'm left with:
1. The coolant outlet pipe for the heater hose on the drive side of the rear end housing
2. The stock coolant gauge 1/8 NPT port in the rear housing

I've tapped the inside of the coolant outlet pipe to accept a 1/4NPT compression fitting. This is where I expect to mount the EWP sensor with a 1/4 compression fitting. Not sure yet where I'm going to mount the HKS water temp sensor, but since it'll also require a 1/4 compession fitting as well, it'll be a relatively easy solution.

So finally, here is what I'm asking for help with:
Does anyone know of a sensor similar to the stock temp gauge sensor that will thread into the stock 1/8NPT port BUT has a tempature/resistance response suitable for use as a substitute for the Haltech water temp sensor. I'm hoping and assuming that surely another OEM water temp sensor out there uses this almost industry-standard thread size AND has a response similar to Haltech's requirement. I've check the stock gauge sensor and it's response is incompatible with the Haltech water temp sensor. I also checked the usual stock thermosensor, and though it has an acceptable response, it obviously will not fit in the 1/8NPT port either.

So hows 'bout helpin a brotha out and showing me the way...

MMonaco, after quite a bit of searching I could not find the sensor I asked about. In the end I mounted aluminum Earls NPT bosses to my C/R radiator. Seems the 1/8 NPT sensor with the Haltech/GM compatible curve remains elusive... sorry!

link "http://www.g-motorsports.com/ac_technics.htm"
that web is for civic, but many like that is for universal.

hope you get what i mean.

I run into the same problem also when I use electric water pumps. Your only choice is on the return from the motor to the radiator basicaly where you got it on the radiator would work fine.
The factory 1/8 bsp hole on the rear housing and the heater hose outlet is not going to give you the proper reading. I've always got a much lower reading on the rear heater outlet than on the water outlet to the radiator. I believe it was around 20 to 30 deg. difference. The factory gauge is calibrated to read form that location but when you think about it the factory gauge is a POS. anyways.

Motec has an 1/8" NPT water sensor in their catalogue, and I'm sure they would be able to tell you if it responds the same as the standard GM 3/8" NPT sensor.

It does not, they are two different sensing elements. The Delco part
reads 3300 ohms at 20C and the Bosch sensor reads 2500 ohms at 20C.

If you are looking for the TAP for the Haltech water and air temp sensors, its not 1/8" its called 3/8"NPT.
