Haltech Platinum Sprint RE
Hey guys I just bought the Sprint RE to install in my Rotary powered Spitfire racecar and was wondering which one of the install guides should I use from the list at the beginning of this section?
I'm running straight NA for now, so that I can keep the car somewhat reliable. In the future I will get the engine ported but for now I will just run NA. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Oh another thing, how did you make your connections and can you use the stock coolant temp sensor and does it matter which wire on that sensor gets wired into the Haltech

Well I am attempting to wire this in but have a question about the grey cables from the ecu going to the CAS. I see that easy grey wire group uses the yellow and green wires. The red wires say 12v and blue wires say ground. Why is there power on this wire? No sure I understand how to wire this in.
Can Anybody provide an answer? I only have low impedance injectors so I had to break apart the whole harness to make sure I got all the resistor pack wires. That looks easy so wondering about the CAS hookup now.

1 - Who's your vendor and why are you not asking them these questions?
2 - If you bought as used system, the money you saved would of bought you some much needed support from a reputable, knowledgeable vendor.
3 - Haltech's quickstart guide is pretty self explanatory. Not sure it can be explained much better.
4 - Diagram below has all the common FC connectors. With the CAS, you only use the yellow and green wires in each 4 core cable. The red and blue are not used and need to be insulated so that neither is able to short to ground or 12V. Connect the green and yellow as shown in the quickstart guide and below.
