Tips and tricks on front lower suspension arm bushings
Hi guys - I pulled my front sway bar off to install a slightly stiffer than stock Racing Beat unit and as part of that noticed that my front bushings all look past it. It would seem that if I already have the sway bar and control/strut arm off now would be the time to replace the lower arm bushings as well. Is there a way to check them prior to pulling everything apart?
Any tips or tricks on doing that to pass along? These are pressed in place, correct?
I have been pretty amazed at how the early SA drives - when with the bushings being past it - so I am excited to see how she feels with proper bits in place.
Thanks for the help.

to check you'd put a prybar in there and see if they are too sloppy.
easy to change though, take the arm off and they should almost pop out by hand

Ah, no press required then. Will check for play.
Now, of course, if the arms come off then good time to replace the struts and springs...
Oh now - I've been bit by the "while I am at it" bug...

Note that unbolting the LCA from the inner mount can be an issue. You may
end up cutting the bolt to get it off and then replacing it with suitable hardware.
It will seize onto the bushing steel inner sleeve and refuse to come out even
though the nut has been removed.
