QC Elite 1500 Fuel Pump Wiring

Here is my problem with my fuel pump, I made my connections on my Elite 1500 as requested, (A24 pin on the 1K (BLUE circle) OEM wire) except that my pump does not prime when I turn the key to ON. But as soon as I ground the 1T pin (RED circle) to the chassis it starts. Can you tell me if I should put the 1T pin (RED circle) on an ECU ground? I am attaching the PDF with the wires in question.

Thank you for your help

You need to connect both 1K and 1T to DPO5. 1K bypasses the resistor. When that relay is closed you get full power to the pump. You could use a 2nd output to control that relay but it’s really unnecessary.

Would be a good idea to cut and crimp the fuel pump resistor wires so if the relay fails you don't drop fuel pressure. It is bolted under the brake power booster. Just clip the wires after the connector on the resistor side and splice together.
