Fuel Pump Issue

For some odd reason...My fuel pump isn't kicking in. Anyone have any ideas as to why it would not start? ECU? Grounds? Relays?

I dropped in a new turbo motor and hooked everything up correctly as far as I know. I'm pretty sure that The ecu is connected properly too. I also tested the power to the fuel pump and it tested fine...12 volts dc...also tested the fuel pump ohmage and that was fine too. I'm stumped beyond belief...

If anyone has any ideas, please share!

Thanks people!!!

What were the wire colors you checked on the fuel pump connector?

At the connector that the fuel pump plug attaches to, the power wire is BLUE. The wire it mates with on the pump plug, is black/white.

That's BLUE as in LARGE BLUE wire.

Is this just with the ignition on or when trying to start the engine? The fuel pump does not get power unless the engine is running or cranking. Just turning the key on won't do anything unless you jumper the yellow check conector in the engine bay.

Thanks for the help guys! I think I narrowed the issue down and it isn't the fuel pump. I'm way over my head on this project and I'm towing my car to the local mazda god. I just have to wait until he's open so I can talk with him....

Thanks again guys!
