Uh, let me get this straight...
You just paid BDC just to strictly install the unit and harness, and he did not verify it would fire?

I know that the coils are getting power. There is no way they couldn't be.

Did you try what I suggested and verify testing power to the leads on the coil and/or testing positive on the TAN lead of the leading ignitor harness and ground on the chassis? I'm telling you, based on what I saw there and also what you've told me, there's no power to it -- No spark, no tach, and no switched power off the 6-lead plug that both the fan and the two Haltech relays use. It's related to the problem you had on the very same harness that's part of the car's main relay. Do you have a multimeter?

Something I wanted to add that I'm not sure I told you about a few nights ago -- Worst case, if this EGI factory power harness mess isn't sorted, you can get yourself a 30A 12VDC automotive relay, tie the two TAN leads (one from each ignitor/coil pack), and switch the relay off of the lead going to the main ignition relay, fusing the +12V constant power lead to 20-25A prior to the relay. That way the factory wiring/fuse block will be bypassed for powering the ignition hardware on its own relay and fuse.
